Organic Gourmet is the continuance of hope and health for my family, and it is my desire to share our newfound healthy lifestyle with our community. Last year, my family had a frightening experience that made us painfully aware of the fragility of our physical bodies. I awoke one Saturday morning to my healthy and athletic 38-year-old husband having a seizure. Five hours later we received heartbreaking news from a doctor, “We found something unfortunate.” My husband had a brain tumor. The next few months I learned as much as I could about nutrition, natural remedies, harmful preservative and pesticides, and genetically modified products. I quickly became aware of the vital importance of organic living, and made an attempt to convert my kitchen and my family to organic foods. However, the lack of readily available foods and the time it took to prepare fresh, not-from-the-box meals became quite burdensome, and thus the beginning of Organic Gourmet, a company that provides fresh and delicious meals for individuals and families. We feature two premier chefs, Tevonda Johnson and Micheal Schley, who cook every dish with excellence and creativity. We are fortunate to have them on board; a delectable meal awaits you!
